The ruin of our nation began in our homes with the destruction of the family.
In order to rebuild this nation we must rebuild our families, and the place to start is with men, the men who are husbands and fathers.
Let's take a look at what the government has done to bring about the destruction of the family.
It changed the classification on income tax returns from "head of household" to "Joint return." This seemingly innocuous change in essence said the man is no longer in charge of his family. How can any structure survive if there is no one in charge?
Another seemingly minor change occurred in the educational system when single sex education was eliminated. This action made a statement that there is no difference in the thinking and learning ability of men and women.
After it was established that man was not the head of the household and that he was no different than women in the schools, the next step was to show that he was unnecessary. The enactment of welfare did this with the basic requirement that there must be no husband in the home.
The rewards of welfare are so great that there are at this moment 12 million unwed mothers and 24 million children being raised without a father at home.
From welfare the next progression in the destruction of the family was affirmative action. Originally designed to be race specific and gender specific, affirmative action was enacted to help the black man. Instead, women were Included in the program because they qualified as minorities. To call the majority of a population a minority shows the general decline of rational thinking in this country. The result was that the prime beneficiaries of affirmative action were middle class white women, a distant second were black women. The black man didn't get anything out of it and the white man paid for it. A multibillion dollar program that set men back, further weakening their influence in the family.
After welfare came the enactment of no-fault divorce, which in essence destroyed the sanctity of marriage completely. If a woman was "bored" she could file for divorce, get half of the family assets, and if the children were minors, complete custody and child support payments from the man who bored her.
With welfare, children were raised by only one parent. With the advent of "workfare" children are now being raised without any parents. In order to remove the mother from the home she is being trained for employment so that she can become a self-sufficient economic unit. The only thing being done in recognition of men is to build more prisons.
The effect to these programs has been the destruction of the family which in turn is causing the ruin of our nation.
If the ruin of a nation begins in the homes of its people, then the rebuilding of the nation must begin in the home. The family must be strengthened. The state will not make this change. It must come from the person in the mirror. Are you ready to make change?
If you are, are you ready to make peace with your father? Do you know who he is? Do you know where he is? Have you ever seen him? When did you see him last'? What do you know about him"? Is it what someone else told you? Why don' t you find out for yourself'? Are you speaking to him? If not, why not?
There are multitudes of fathers who cry themselves to sleep every night because they cannot see their children. There are multitudes of fathers who took to drink or drugs because they could not support their children because of the effects of various government programs.
Go and find your father and make peace with him. And don't go with the intent of forgiving him, but instead ask his forgiveness for taking you so long to find him.
When you and your father are reunited then the family will have been strengthened. Then we can move forward to make other changes and bring about a society of people taking care of people instead of the state taking care of people.
The following are excerpts from the Apocrypha, which has been omitted from many Bibles relating to the relationship with your father. This is from Ecclesiasticus chapter 3.
"It is the Lord's will that a father should be honored by his children.
Respect for a father atones for Sins.
A son who respects his father will be made happy by his own children.
When he prays he will be heard.
He who honors his father will have a long life.
My son, honor your father by word and deed so that you will receive his blessing.
For a father's blessing strengthens his children's houses.
Never seek honor at the discredit of your father; how can his discredit bring honor to you?
A man is honored if his father is honored...
My son look after your father in his old age; do nothing to vex him as long as he lives.
Even it his mind falls, make allowances for him, and do not despise him because you are in your prime.
It you support your father it will never be forgotten, but be put in your credit against your sins, when you are in trouble, it will be remembered in your favor, and your sins will melt away like frost in the sunshine.
To leave your father in the lurch is like blasphemy..."
Take heed to these scriptures. They were written for a reason. Without respect for your father there can be no family. Without the family there is no tribe. Without the family and the tribe, the state will rule all things.
Do you want a society in which people take care of people, or one in which the state takes care of people? The choice is yours. But you must act. No one can make the change for you.
Make peace with your father. Now!
